This bike is in absolutely fantastic condition. It has never been ridden on trails and has all of the original everything. Many additional photos are available upon request. Back in the'90s AMP Research made a bunch of bikes that were WAY ahead of their time. This particular one had SUPER top end, state of the art components and technology and was branded as a Mercedes Benz.
It has USA manufactured carbon forks with a linkage based suspension system. It also is made of USA manufactured aluminum from head to toe. It comes with a full Deore XT drive train and DT Swiss Cable Driven Hydraulic Disc brakes. That's right, I said it, HYDRAULIC BRAKES IN 1996!!!Everything on this bike still works great from the shifters to the brakes to the suspension. The original tires are included but not currently on the bike. Also included are: The original suitcase that the bike can be collapsed into, the original paperwork that came with the bike and instructions for packing and un-packing. I can't say enough how great the condition of this bike is.
It is really great as a museum piece or at a Mercedes Benz showroom piece. Please message us with any questions.
