2002 Retro Orange Evo O2 Hardtail Mountain Bike 26" wheels 19" Frame. 26 inch Mavic 719 wheelset on Shimano Deore XT Hubs. Tyres- 26x2.10 Panaracer Fire XC Pro tyres. Front- Rockshox Tora 302 with Travel adjustment and remote lockout. 27 gears (3 x 9).
Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes - mineral oil. X Fusion dropper seat post. Other & New Parts list. Brand new inner and outer cables.
Here we have a Orange Evo O2 mountain bike from 2002. This is a real gem! We have also got the original Hope grips that the bike came with, which will be supplied, although these are very worn so have been switched out for some new generic grips. We have run it through the workshop and everything is in good working order. The fork was changed at some point, the original was a Manitou Elite Super Six which must have failed sometime in the last 20 ish years. The saddle was aftermarket and wrecked so we have added a new saddle. The bike originally had Avid V brakes, these have been changed to hydraulic Shimano Deore's, and are an older model that suits the period. The derailleur has been changed to a newer Deore too. The wheels are true, the brakes are amazing. The bike has had an old school dropper fitted at some point which works as well. Being a 22 year old bike there are marks and scuffs but most noticeably some of the lacquer has started to peel off the frame. But overall it's in good condition. Ever wanted one when you were young? This is a blast from the past, probably the best one still to exist! It's a lovely bike to ride, it's a lot of fun and can hit all the trails and it'll bring you smiles!
