Cannondale prophet full suspension upgraded mountain bike
For sale is a Cannondale prophet from around 2009. It has 26 wheels and 140mm of suspension front and rear.
The bike is a size large for its time but by now-a-days standard is probably a medium, which will work for anyone from 5ft 4" to 5ft 8" or there about. Although a little outdated, this bike is an all-mountain trail bike that is capable of pretty much everything. The bike has been very well maintained and recently serviced such as the headset, rear hub, gears, cables and brakes. It has also been upgraded in many areas including new 800mm wide nukeproof handle bars, new stem, grips, 1 X 9 drivetrain and new hub bearings and thru-shaft. This bike includes a rockshoxs pike for a suspension fork which is in very good condition, which is very plush and smooths out the trail very well, it has adjustable travel from about 95mm to 140mm by the turn of the dial on the fork's uppers.The Cannondale prophet also has an adjustable head angle by an alternative shock position. This allows for a slacker or steeper mode, depending on the trails being ridden. Whilst this bike is not the fastest on the climbs, it crushes the descents and is very capable for what it is.
